Liberty Gold Coins

The Liberty Head series is the longest running series of United States coinage, spanning from 1838-1908. Designed by Christian Gobrecht, they depict a portrait of Lady Liberty on the obverse with a heraldic eagle on the reverse. They were issued in five different denominations and at seven different mints.
